I recommend Paul Davis unequivocally to anyone seeking attentive, thorough and adept home contractors. Our home experienced major ice dam damage from extreme snowstorms in January of 2026. Paul Davis was the approved contractor from our insurance company for our mitigation/repair work and we could not be more pleased with their work in February of this year. The ice dams caused damage to two floors of our home, including the ceiling, walls/insulation and hardwood floors. Their mitigation team handled the work expertly, professionally and cautiously. Everyone we engaged with - from the office team to the onsite team - helped us through our first experience with an elaborate insurance claim. We were so thrilled with their work on the mitigation stage, we worked with them for the reconstruction of our home this summer. It was a job that entailed many elements, including repairing and refinishing most of our first story floors, elaborate drywall work, painting of many surfaces (including ceilings, walls and baseboards) and temporary removal (and return) of our first floor belongings. The team leads and the many professionals we encountered over the project were thoughtful, kind and proficient in their work. They worked with flexibility and attention to finish the project on a schedule that worked for our circumstances. They not only made our house whole from the winter storm damage, it looks better than ever before. I have recommended Paul Davis to our friends who need a reliable and professional team of contractors without hesitation. I was impressed with the promptness and efficiency of the mitigation team. The project leader and the work crew were friendly and kept me informed about the progress. It took a little while for the remediation team to get started, seemingly due to vacations and my misunderstanding of my responsibilities (e.g. regarding payment, choosing materials, etc.). But Ken Ta was very accommodating and helpful and went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied with the work being done. He and the work crew did a wonderful job refurbishing my basement studio.
